Story: Lee Young Ah plays a half korean and Vietnamese girl, Nguyen Jin Joo who marries a korean man ‘Kang Jun Woo’ (Song Chang Ui) for $1,500 in order to come to korea to look for her real father who had abandon her and her mother as her mother is gradually going blind due to an accident. But upon arriving, she is faced with the problems of facing a mother in-law who doesn’t want to accept her at first and a husband who suffers from Obsessive-compulsive disorder after being betrayed by his ex-girlfriend “Ok Ji Young” (Choi Yu Jin).
The bad blood that had began between the Kim and Kang families when Ji Young dumps Jun Woo to marry Kim Young Min (Song Jong Ho) whom she met while being out stationed in States, is even more fueled when Kang Sae Mi (Han Yeo Woon) becomes pregnant with Kim Young Soo (Kim Hee Chul)’s kid out of wed-lock when both of them co-habited after opposition of their marriage from both families.
Meanwhile, Kang Won Mi (Hong Eun Hee) becomes entwined in fate with Heo Dong Gu (Kim Kyung Sik) who was attracted to Sae Mi at first.
